Projects

I’ve been photographing for a long time now and tried many different genres. But there’s one genre I always come back to, one that I think is the most honest and important one, and that’s documentary.

For me, this is because it tells the best stories. It’s true to the world we live in and true to the subjects in the photos. Without it, all photo albums would be fake. All newspapers would be fake. The memories and facts a photo can hold are to me more important than manipulation a photo to be pretty.

Bitten by a mad guitar

In the small workshop, which was once a barn, a thin coating of sawdust covers most of the surfaces and machines. This is not a sign of neglect, but quite the contrary a sign of usage.

Nuances of nature

Randers Regnskov – Tropical Zoo has more than 100.000 visitors every year, and when you wander around in the breathtaking climate along with all the colourful animals that’s not difficult to understand.

The sour vinegar and the sweet work

Ever since Finn Christiansen learnt to bike he’s been a part of the world of vinegar. His father, Svend Aage Christiansen was in fact brewmaster at De Jydske Eddikefabriker (the Jutlandic Vinegar Factories) in Randers, which today is the last remaining in Denmark.

Caroline saved her from herself

The wind blew softly through the trees outside the window. The rays of the sun had long ago been replaced by moonshine on a clear December sky. Caroline sat on her bed with a handful of pills. Was it time? Was that it?

Lillevangen on tour

The band Lillevangen has combined this weekend’s concerts at respectively Engelsholm Højskole and the music festival Nose Noise with a trip to the beach together with their usual following.
